Fine Art School Portraits are a modern approach to school photos. No more cheesy smiles with strange backgrounds. The background will be black and the photos will be simple and classic. Instead of forcing a cheesy grin, the children will be encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile.

• I recommend:

  • Light-colored tops in solid colors or subtle prints. Consider colors that make your child’s eye color pop!
  • Details add visual interest: suspenders, ruffles, a cute little bow-tie… lots of options!
  • For babies, choose tops that don’t darken when they get wet (slobber is inevitable with the littlest ones)!
• Avoid:
  • Large amounts of black, navy, and other dark colors
  • Ultrabright and neon colors
  • Small thin stripes or small checkered prints
  • Logos or shirts with big print

Fletcher and Fawns Photography will photograph your child individually as well as group photos with their siblings who attend the school upon request. Please let me know in your pre-registration if you would like sibling photos. 

Yes! 

Before your school's scheduled picture day, fill out the registration form to pre-register your child. With this form you can request sibling photos, and sign the optional model release. There is no obligation to purchase any prints or digitals.  

I will be able to password protect your child's gallery upon request. I will never use any image without your permission and if sharing is permitted, any personal details including name, location, school, etc. will not be released. 

Parents will receive album with 3-5 images of their child/children. There will also be a separate gallery for any sibling photos taken. You will then have the option to choose from print packages and/or digital downloads of the images. if the print packages don't work for you then you can customize your order with a la carte options. Pricing information can be found below. 

Within two weeks of your child’s picture day, you will receive the link to a class proofing gallery. There will be 3-5 images of each child. Images will be in both color and black and white. I do not choose which photos you print; you do.

You will be able to order packages or al la carte prints, canvas wraps, and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for TWO WEEKS. ALL orders must be placed in that two-week period. Once orders have been placed, your photos and/ or canvas wraps will be delivered to your school within four weeks. There is no obligation to order anything.

Ordering will be open for two weeks and your prints will be delivered within 2-4 weeks after the gallery expires. if you choose to purchase digital images, those will be delivered immediately after purchasing!

Yes! I will be taking pictures of each class. They will be available for download when the individual images are released. The class image download will be at no charge.
